Dimitrios Paterakis (Kiran Fine Art) is participating in the annual Chania International Photo festival (CIP).
The Chania International Photo Festival is an annual event that celebrates the art of photography and has been created by Blank Wall Gallery. Its aim is to gather more than 400 photographers from around the world each year, turning the town of Chania into an international center of artistic expression focusing on photography. This year artists from 72 countries will be hosted at the festival.
The festival brings together photographers, artists, and enthusiasts from all over the world to showcase their work and engage in meaningful discussions about the art form, co-organized by Blank Wall Gallery, the Municipality, and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania, organizes this year the 5th Chania International Photo Festival (Cip Festival). The festival will be held from July 6 to July 12, 2022, at the Center for Mediterranean Architecture (KAM) and the Hammam on Katre Street. (Due to last year’s number of participating artists, for the organization of 2022, the Hammam space was given to the Festival by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania).
Kiran is participating with his artwork “Alone in the Cosmos”, a black and white photograph from his project that was created in the deserts of the Middle East.
