What a day, the moment that I was waiting for many years, to see mount Everest!
We arrived at the airport five in the morning, and spend three hours at a bus waiting for the airplane to be fixed or replaced. It was OK though, we were in Nepal, things can go wrong, just relax and wait. The mountain is there waiting.
THE mountain is there, what an experience, Sagarmatha – Chomolungma – Everest, pick whatever name you like, it is a miracle, something out of this world.
How small you feel compared to that creation of nature, how powerful were the forces that created these mountains.
Himalayas, just whispering that name and so many thoughts and emotions.
